Valerie Iush Interiors is a full service design firm that has been serving clients since 2019. While we love seeing our projects through from the first idea to final installation, we realized that not every client needs the full service experience. Sometimes it's because they just need to finish off a few spaces. Other times it's simply because they prefer to be more involved.
Our Design Day service was created specifically with these clients in mind to provide them with a high-quality design plan they can feel confident implementing as their schedule and budget allow.
It would be our pleasure to partner with you to create a beautiful space that reflects your style and meets your needs. You'll have the support of our team throughout the service so you can enjoy a fun and exciting design experience.
OUR DESIGN DAY PROCESS
01 | Getting to Know You
Before we officially start your project, we'll ask you to share important details so we can better understand your design style and lifestyle.
This phase includes:

A detailed design questionnaire we will thoroughly review prior to your design day

A review of your inspiration images to better understand your style and goals

A simple measuring and photography guide so we can create floor plans and visualize your space
02 | Your Design Day

Up to 4 hours of uninterrupted in-home or virtual design time

03 | Your Design Plan

This service is perfect for those who want to jumpstart their design journey but are not ready to commit to a full-scale design project. Whether you're struggling with a particular design challenge, want to refresh a room, or just need some guidance on where to start, our Design Day service is the perfect solution. We'll work together to create a design plan that reflects your personality and tastes while keeping your budget and lifestyle in mind.
INVESTMENT
Design Day Investment

The investment for this service is $4,500. A furniture budget of $15,000 to $50,000 for this service is recommended.

White Glove Delivery
A receiving warehouse is required for orders placed through Valerie Iush Interiors, and is what retailers like Pottery Barn, RH, and Crate and Barrel call "White Glove Delivery". The receiver will receive, inspect, store, and provide white glove delivery and assembly for items ordered through Valerie Iush Interiors. The fee for White Glove Delivery will be charged at the time of furniture invoice.

Typically shipping, handling, and white glove delivery fees are 15-20% of the furniture budget.

WHAT IF IT'S NOT MY STYLE?
The Design Day is a quick turnaround limited service, and the more details you share about your preferences in your questionnaire and inspiration images, the more likely we will be able to nail your design on the first try. Sometimes we'll include a few options if we see several that could work; other times, we'll provide what we believe is the best option for your space.
In the event you'd like additional options, we recommend using our suggestions as a reference for style, size, color, pattern, finish, etc. as you find something more to your liking.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE ITEMS?
We select a combination of trade and retail items based on what you share in your design questionnaire about your budget and the look you are hoping to achieve.
HOW DO I ORDER?
For items recommended through our trade sources, we'll invoice you and then take care of placing and tracking your orders. For retail items recommended, you'll handle the ordering and tracking on your own.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND A SUBCONTRACTOR?
The Design Day service doesn't include any coordination of subcontractors or project management, but we can make suggestions for local subcontractors for your project if we have a resource. You would then be responsible for requesting quotes and contracting with them directly.
WHAT'S YOUR MARKUP?
Our items are competitive with retail. In the event we cannot beat the retail price, we'll provide the information so you can order directly, when possible.
WILL THERE BE AN INSTALLATION?
The Design Day is a limited service and does not include installation. We'll keep you updated on the status of items ordered through Valerie Iush Interiors so you can coordinate delivery times that are convenient for your schedule. You'll be able to reference your design plan, your digital design presentation, and our emails during your support phase to pull the room together with all the items suggested.
